Policies

 

Camera repair estimates / quotes

  • Photo Tech recommends that all equipments be evaluated by a technician in order to provide an individualistic estimate. We pride on ourselves sticking to our original estimation 98% of the time.
  • Our Quote system is provided on selected models but is limited to general problems and may not be accurate in each situation, due to complexities of today’s equipments.

Re-Estimates

  • If your equipment is subject to re-estimation our staff will stop repeirs and will call, email or postal mail revised estimate to you. You will have the option to continue repairs at the new price or decline repairs. If you decline, the equipment will be returned. No repairs and as it is.

Shipping

  • Photo Tech accepts the packages from all over the world. We can ship packages back to customers via FEDEX, UPS or Parcel Post.
  • Average shipping costs $12.50.
  • Customers are only responsible for shipping charges to Photo Tech for warranty services.

Payments

  • All repairs must be paid for before returned to customers. Photo Tech accepts all major credit cards, Money orders PO's are also accepted from city & government agencies.

Warranty

  • Starting from shipping or pick up date a 6 month warranty applies to all repairs unless otherwise noted.
  • Photo Tech provides a comprehensive warranty that covers any functionality that stops working in the equipment.

Limitations

  • Equipment is considered to be discarded after 6 months at our facility.
  • We are not responsible for any accessories that are sent with the equipment such as (batteries, memory cards, chargers, straps etc.)
  • Warranty will not cover any damage caused by, but not limited to impact, moisture, liquid, extreme temperatures, corrosions, modifications, tampering or any abuse or misuse outside of manufacturers’ specifications.

Refund Policy

  • Photo Tech has built a respectable reputation on the quality work of the technicians. If your equipment does not meet your satisfaction after repairs, please contact us via email or phone immediately. We will attempt to troubleshoot over the phone first, and if additional repairs are necessary a call ticket will be issued for P.U (within U.S). if we cannot complete repair to manufacturers specifications we will refund repair costs.
